Tales from Security Dave: Mellow Creek lockdown update

August 19, 2020 • comics • creepy • ghost • haunted • haunting • horror • paranormal • Tales from Security Dave

My name is Dave and our little town has been placed under lockdown for more than three months now. Though there were no new cases reported over the last few weeks, no one was allowed to leave or enter Mellow Creek. 'Why?' you ask.. 'It is to protect the people of Mellow Creek from external threat', said our dubious little town mayor. That being said, most of us are back to our daily grind. Local businesses are open, kids are back to school, parents back to work... and I am back working in this shady-looking mall. I have to admit, I miss the musty, ol' granny's attic-y smell that engulfed my nostrils throughout my shift. It's that kind of smell you get when you visit meemaw. Sorta nostalgic, if you catch my drift. But the one thing I definitely don't miss... are strange shit like these happening all around the mall...My name is Dave and our little town has been placed under lockdown for more than three months now.
